Timeline of events

2020	March — COVID 19 restrictions bring a pause to the project.
2019	August — Jarrette K. Allen publishes a working paper: “The Respelling of Loanwords in the Bantayanon Orthography, with a Response to Leo James English on the Matter”
2018	Apr 21 — SINGGA NA: The 1st Bantayanon Summit on Local Language and Culture
	Apr 20 — training day for teachers before SINGGA NA workshop
2016	Nov 17 — Luper, Minda and Jarrette visit Madridejos to do interviews.
	Nov 16 — Luper, Minda and Jarrette travel to Doong and Lipayran to do interviews.
	Nov 10 — Padi and Jarrette travel to the islets to do interviews.
	May 13 — Jarrette travels to Iligan City to meet Minda Carabio-Sexon and sign MOU with MSU-IIT.
2015	Dec 16 — Mayor Chris Escario gives official blessing to the project.
	December — Jarrette visits Bantayan Island for the first time.
2007	March — Minda Carabio-Sexon publishes her M.A. thesis: Bantayanon: A Lexical Comparison and Sociolinguistic Description
